Ziggurat and Abylight Launch Prison Tycoon: Under New Management on Steam Today

Today’s a great day to be a fan of tycoon games, as publisher Ziggurat and developer Abylight have released Prison Tycoon: Under New Management, a reboot of the best-selling original Prison Tycoon series. The game builds upon the business simulation features genre-fans love, and combines it with a new art style, more customizable design tools, and granular control over all aspects of their facility and staff. Players will be challenged to build a profitable well-maintained facility while rehabilitating their charges and keeping everyone happy.

Prison Tycoon: Under New Management is available for PC in Early Access via Steam for $29.99 USD, and until July 7, can be purchased at a $10 USD discount.

Prison Tycoon: Under New Management features a different take on what it means to be a successful warden. In the game, players will need to maintain a balance of services and security as they strive to run and grow their facility. They’ll need to secure funding from state agencies, manage the flow of resources and keep staff and prisoners happy while providing proper care for their charges. Whether constructing a new cell block or a VR therapy room, would-be wardens must maximize their investments to grow their prisons efficiently and humanely.
