Safely Visit Berlin in Aerosoft’s Photorealistic Driving Simulation — The Bus — Now Available (PC)

Photo-realistic Graphics, Dynamic Weather Patterns, a Full Day-Night Cycle, AI-Driven Traffic, It’s All There!

Aerosoft, a prolific publisher of popular simulation games, and developer TML Studios, are pleased to announce today the Steam Early Access PC launch of The Bus, the latest title in the publisher’s award-winning roster. With closed borders and lockdown restrictions preventing most leisurely travel, Aerosoft and TML are bringing the stunning and modern city of Berlin to you! Thanks to photo-realistic graphics and a meticulously mapped out 1:1 virtual re-creation of Germany’s shining capital, players can hop in the driver’s seat (or take a stroll on-foot) and explore some of the city’s famous landmarks and bustling tourist hotspots for themselves. Board and deboard passengers, edit lines, routes, timetables, and tours, manage ticket sales, and if you feel like it, take a walk around the inside of your very own petrol-powered tourism machine.

Die Räder an Dem Bus drehen sich und drehen sich...

“With The Bus, we want to provide a realistic driving simulator with a level of depth, polish, and freedom not found in similar titles,” said Winfried Diekmann, CEO of Aerosoft. “TML Studios have done an incredible job in realizing their version of Berlin, and we can’t wait for players to hop into the driver’s seat and start exploring the rich world TML has created!”

The Bus will tick all the boxes for hardcore sim fans looking for a detailed, immersive bus driving simulator, yet is a great jumping-on point for newcomers looking to experience the genre for the first time,” said Thomas Langelotz, CEO of TML Studios. “We’ve made a game with a deep and robust set of systems that will keep players with their hands on the wheel and their eyes on the beautifully rendered road ahead.”

With several different game modes, support for the modding community, and even a planned multiplayer component, The Bus has a lot more to offer than your standard run-of-the-mill job simulator. The beautiful visuals are nice, but an immersive sim requires more than just some pretty window dressing. A robust weather system with all the sun, rain, and sleet Germany has to offer, along with a day-and-night cycle makes for a far more engaging experience that accurately represents the real thing. Of course, nobody wants to roll around an empty city, barren of life, so TML has implemented intelligent, realistic traffic, vehicles, and lights to create a deep and appealing gameplay experience that goes well beyond the staples of the genre. Key Features of The Bus Include:

  • Beautiful Berlin: You’ve never seen Germany’s capital city look this good, and luckily, it’s your job to show it off! Take your passengers to some of the city’s most famous hotspots and tourist attractions, including Potsdamer Platz and Tiergarten!

  • Hardcores and Newcomers Welcome: Whether you’re a driving sim fanatic or new to the genre, The Bus has you covered with three different game modes: Realistic Campaign, Arcade, and Custom.

  • Please Your Peepers with Pixel Polaroids: What’s the point in traveling without pictures to show off where you’ve been? The developers have put a lot of work into making their digital Berlin as pretty as possible, and thanks to a UI-free Photo Mode, players will be able to snap some shots of the stunning landmarks and cityscape!

  • Left Lane is for Passing Only: AI-controlled vehicles, pedestrians, and traffic lights create a realistic and believable driving experience sure to please simulation fanatics seeking ultra-accurate attention to detail

To keep the wheels turning, the developers have a multi-phase rollout planned that includes consistent updates, a multiplayer mode, more routes, new bus lines, and bus models. Additionally, extensive modding tools and a deep economic system will be introduced down the line, with TML working directly with fans and their feedback. The Bus will be available to start in 16 available languages, including English, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Arabic, with more to come in future updates.

The Bus is now available for Windows PC via Steam Early Access for $24.99 USD. Learn more and get The Bus or add it to your wishlist here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/491540/The_Bus/
