As Guildford continues to live up to its reputation as "The Hollywood of Games," the Guildford.Games Festival stands as a testament to the town's rich gaming legacy and G.Gs commitment to nurturing industry growth and innovation. 

Guildford.Games Ltd, a not-for-profit organization, has been at the forefront of Guildford's gaming ecosystem, fostering collaboration, preserving history, and championing emerging talent within the gaming industry for 4 years, since its inception in 2019. The Guildford.Games Festival serves as a flagship event – and the finale to the G.G sponsorship year - encapsulating these core values. 

The Guildford.Games Festival will be completely free to attend, offering students and budding developers the chance to meet with established developers, gehands-onon with games and attend panels & talks without impacting their finances. Everything G.G ltd does is funded by its generous sponsors, which is a testament to their dedication and belief in inspiring students and budding developers to get into the industry, G.G Ltd as a whole and the Guildford game sector.

The Guildford.Games Festival isn't just about celebrating the present; it's about nurturing the future of gaming. The Festival dedicates significant efforts to support and empower budding developers, providing opportunities, guidance, and mentorship to help aspiring talents pave their paths into the gaming industry. Festival goers will be welcome to speak with developers manning the plethora of stands around the event and attend informative panels and talks from our sponsors aned GU-based studios. The Festival will also host Portfolio Reviews, where attendees can bring their portfolios to be looked over by our sponsors/established developers as well as recruitment agency Amiqus. This year’s sponsors include Supermassive Games, Two Point Studios, Glowmade, and EA/Criterion to name but a few!

The Guildford.Games Festival will also be free to attend, ensuring students and young developers don’t have to part with their hard-earned money – at a time where funds may be scarce – to give their career a leg up.

In an exciting first for Guildford.Games, there will be an evening segment of the festival which is designed for developers/industry-only. Attendees will be treated to exhilarating evening of brain-teasing challenges as Wifi Wars orchestrates a bespoke Guildford games-based head-to-head quizzing experience. This unique event promises to immerse attendees in a thrilling fusion of technology and gaming culture, fostering camaraderie and friendly competition among industry professionals.
