How to look after a cactus.

From start to finish this film is amazingly unique, having Chris Evans (Captain America) playing the love-struck, hopeless romantic farmer boy instead of the typical bad boy superhero he normally plays, is just brilliant, then when you pair him with Ana de Armas (Marilyn Monroe from blonde) it becomes perfect. The relationship between the two does show, after seeing them together in the 2019 film Knives Out they just seem to connect so well, you find yourself getting drawn into the story and cheering for the happy ever after they both deserve. The film starts showing the sweet innocent Cole (Chris Evans) opening his market store, before falling hopelessly in love with the beautiful woman looking to buy herself a house plant... Sadie (Ana de Armas) but I think it's safe to say not everything is as it seems. When a one-night stand doesn’t answer your calls or text what else are you meant to do? Besides travel halfway around the world and find yourself stuck in the middle of a situation you can only imagine wouldn’t happen to you. Ghosted has such an amazing cast with some unexpected familiar faces, the film manages to juggle a brilliant cast with no one person outshining the rest.

we are then graced with an outstanding soundtrack that just fits the film perfectly, from some timeless classics (last night by Traveling Wilburys) to more modern songs (uptown funk by Bruno Mars). It is safe to say this film will be going into my top 10 of the year so far. Directed by Dexter Fletcher, who is well known for some standout films like Rocket Man, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, plus many more. This will be added to his Hall of Fame collection. If this is the level of film we are setting for 2023, I am looking forward to what is to come.
